Extract of Minutes of Meeting of the
City Council of the city of Arden Hills
Ramsey county, Minnesota

Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was
. duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 14th day
of January, 1980, at 7:30 o'clock p.m.

The following members were present: Presiding Officer
Crichton and Councilmen Hanson and Wingertr and the following
were absent: Mayor Crepeau and Councilman Woodburn.
Councilman Wingert
introduced and moved the adoption
of the following resolution:
Resolution No. 80-4
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS ON
IMPROVEMENT NO. 79-1
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution passed by the City Council
on November 13, 1979, the City Consulting Engineers have prepared
plans and specifications for Improvement No. 79-1 and have pre-
sentedsuch plans and specifications to the Council for approval.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN
HILLS, MINNESO'IlA:
1. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are
attached hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.

2. The City Clerk Administrator shall prepare and cause
to be inserted in the New Brighton Bulletin, the official paper,

and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids
upon the making of such approved plans and specifications. The
advertisement for Improvement No. 79-1 shall be pUblished'as
required by law, shall specify the work to be done,' shall call
for bids upon the basis of a cash payment for such work, shall
state that the bids will be received by the city Clerk Administrator
until 2:00 o' clock p.m. on February 8, 1980, at which time they
will be pUblicly opened in the City Hall by the city Clerk
Administrator and City Consulting Engineers, will then be tabulated,
and will sUbsequently be considered by the Council, and that no
bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk
Administrator and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified check
or bid bond payable to the Clerk Administrator for ten percent
(10%) of the amount of such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution
was dUly seconded by councilman Hanson and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor: Al17 and the
fOllowing against: None 7 whereupon said resolution was declared
duly passed and adopted.
