Extract of Minutes of Meeting
of City Council
City of Arden Hills
Ramsey County, Minnesota
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof', a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was
duly held in the City Hall, 1450 Nest Hiqhway 96, in said City

The following members were present: Mayor Henry J. Crepeau, Jr.,
CoBncllmen Charlie Crichton, Ward Hanson, James Wlngert,Robert Woodburn
and the following were absent: None
Councilman Wnnrlh"..n introduced the following re~olution
and moved its adoption:

RESOLUTION RELATING TO COMBINED
IMPROVE~mNTS W-77-5 AlfO W-7H-2
DECLARING COST TO dE ASSESSED AWD
oRDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
WHER'IlUU;, contracts have been let for Combined Improvements
W-77-5 and W-78-2 of the city of Arden Rills consisting of the
installation 0-1' watermain extension, right-of.l.,ay acquisition,
street restoration, and necessary appurtenances in the area
bounded by Interstate Hiqhway 694 on the south, Trunk Highway
96 on the north, Bamline Avenue on the east, and Interstate
Highway 35-W on the west, and
WHEREAS, the contract price for such improvement is
$ 5U' on .Jlj) and the other expens.es incurred or to be incurred
in e mBXrng of said improvement amount to $1 nR.,7fi? nn so
that the total cost of the improvement will be Iii fi7Q R'I4 nn ,
and of this cost the City will pay $ _n _ 'as its
share of the cost.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the
City of Arden HillS, Minnesota, as follows:

,1. The cost to be specially assessed is hereby declared
to be $679.834.00
2. The City Clerk Administrator, together with the assis-
tance of the City Consulting Engineer, shall forthwith calculate
the proper amount to be specially assessed for such work against
every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land wi thin the
improvement affected, without regard to cash valuation, as
provided by law, and she shall file a copy of such proposed
assessment in her office for public inspection. The City Clerk
Administrator may arrange for the assistance of the Data
Processing Division of the County of Ramsey in the preparation
of the proposed assessment roll.
3. The City Clerk. Administrator shall, upon completion
of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof for
their further action and for their setting of an assessment
hearing therefor.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution
was duly seconded by Councilman WI P ae rt , and upon vote being
taken thereon, the followinq voted in favor thereof: A II
and the following voted against the same: None
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
