Extract of Minutes of Meetinq
of City council
City of Arden Bills
Ramsey County, Minnesota
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meetinq
of the City Council of the City of Arden Bills, Minnesota, was
duly held in the City Hall,
on Monday, the 9th day of

The following members were present: Mayor Henry J. Crepeau, Jr.,
CouncIlmen Robert Woodburn, Charlie CrIchton, James WI!lgert and
Ward Hanson
and the following were absent: None
COuncilman Woodburn introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption:
Resolution No., 79-32
BESOLU'l'ION RELATING TO IMPROVEMENT NO. W-78-S
DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND
ORDERING PREPARA'l'ION OF PROPOSED ASSESSI\1n1'l'
WHEREAS, contracts have been let for Improvement No. W-78-5
consisting of the installation of watermain and necessary
appurtenances for all properties abuttina County Road F between
Fernwood Avenue and Lexin~n Avenue, and
WHEREAS, the contract price for such improvement is
$ 24,590.00 and the other expenses incurred or to be incurred
in the making of said improvement amount to $ 481 8.00 so
that the total cost of the Improvement will be ~ 29.408.00 ,
and of this cost the City will pay $ -0- as its share
of the cost.
NOW, TBRREFORE, be it resol vee! by the City COuncil of the
City of Arden Bills, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The cost to be specially assessed is hereby declared
to be $ ?Q 408 nn .
2: The City Clerk Administrator, together with the assis-
tance of the City Consulting Engineer, shall forthwith calculate

the proper amount to be specially assessed for such work against
every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the
improvement affected, without regard to cash valuation, as
provided by law, and she shall file a copy of such proposed
assessment in her office for public inspection. The City Clerk
Administrator may arrange for the assistance of the Data
Processing Division of the County of Ramsey in the preparation
of the proposed assessment roll.
3. The City Clerk Administrator shall, upon completion
of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof for their
further action and for their setting of an assessment hearing
therefor.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution
was duly seconded by Councilman Wingert , and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All

whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
