Pursuant to due call and notioe thereof, a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Arden Bills, Minnesota, was
duly held in the City Ball,

WHEREAS, contracts have been let for Improvement NO.
SS-W-P-ST-77-7 consisting of the oonstruction of bituminous
paving, conorete curb and gutter, sanitary sewer and watermain
facilities and services, storm sewer and necessaxy appur-
tenances generally in the area bounded by Inters1:ate Hiqhway
694 on the south and west, Floral Drive on the north, and
Hamline Avenue on the east, and
WHEREAS, the contract price for such improvement is
$ ?4rc!~ -~ and the other expenses incurred or to be in-
curre n e iaakinq of said improvement amount to $ 9.538.00
so that the total cost of the improvement will be $'-B us.go ,
and of this cost the City will pay $ _n_ as 1. s are
of the cost.
NOW, TlmREFORE, be it resolved by t:he C1 ty COuncil of
the City of Arden Bills, Minnesota, as followsl
1. The cost to be speoially assessed is hereby declared
to. be $ 33,738.00 .

2. '!'he City Clerk Ac3m1nistrator, toqether with the assis-
tance of the City Consulting Engineer, shall forthwith
calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such
work against every assessable lot, piece. or parcel of land
within the improvement affected, without regard to cash
valuation, as provided by law, and she shall file a copy of
such proposed assessment in her office for public inspection.
'!'he City Clerk Administrator may arrange for the assistance
of the Data Processing Division of the County of Ramsey in the
preparation of the proposed assessment roll.
3. '!'he City Clerk Administrator shall, upon completion
of such proposed assessment, notify the. Council thereof for
their further action and for their setting of an assessment
hearing- therefor.
The motion for, the adoption of the .foregoing resolution
was duly seconded by Counoilman WIn g" d , and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: A I I

whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
