RESOLUTION NO. 79-25
RESOLUTION COMMENDING ROBERT O. ASHBACH
.
WHEREAS, Robert O. Ashbach was appointed Trustee of
the Village of Arden HI lis In 1953 and Mayor In 1954, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Ashbach was elected Mayor of Arden HI I Is
In 1955, 1957, 1959 and 1961, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Ashbach was elected State Representative
from the district Including Arden HI lis In 1962, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Ashbach was elected State Senator from
the district Including Arden Hills In 1964, 1968, 1972 and 1976,
and
WHEREAS, Mr. Ashbach has ably and conscIentiously
performed the duties of said public offices, and
WHEREAS, Arden HI lis has greatly benefitted from his
continued cIvic leadershIp;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council
of Arden HI lis does hereby, on behalf of Itself and the people
of Arden Hills, commend Robert O. Ashbach and express apprecia-
tion for the service which he has rendered and wi I I render In
future years.
Passed by the City Councl I of Arden HIlls this 21st
