HomeMy WebLinkAbout79-022 IF -. ~ Extract of Minutes of Meeting of City Council City of Arden Hills RaIIIsey County, Minnesota Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Ramsey County, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall at 1450 West Highway 96, St. Paul, Minnesota, on Monday, the21st day of May - , 1979, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: CouncIlmen CharlIe CrIchton, Ward Hanson, James WIngert, Robert Woodburn . and the following were absent: Mayor Henry J. Crepeau, Jr. introduced the following resolution Councilman Wlnoert and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 79-22 RESOLUTION RELATING TO APPORTIONMENT OF ASSESSIalNTS RELATING TO SANITARY SEWER niPROVEMENT NO. 1 BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the Oi ty of Arden Hills, Minnesota, as follows: WHEREAS, the assessment roll for Sanitary Sewer Improve- ment No.1, as last finally amended and adopted on September 9, 1960, was filed and certified to the County Auditor of Ramsey County on October 26, 1960, for the purpose of including installments thereof to be collected. along with real estate taxes commencing in 19611 and tiHEREAS, a hearing on supplemental assessments, reassess- ments and apportionments of previous assessments in respect IF . . to Sanitary Sewer Improvement No.1 was held on August 3, 1961, at which time assessments for Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. ~ were amended as provided by said resolution of said date and certifiea and filed in the office of the County Auditor of Ramsey County on September B, 1961, and WHEREAS, since that date a number of parcels of property contained within said assessment roll as amended have been divided and conveyed by previous property owners; and t-mEREAS, the County Auditor of Ramsey County requires that apportionment of the original assessment against each original tract where it has later been divided, sold or conveyed, be made by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, in order that the proper assessment can be extended by the County Audi tor against each parcel of property thereafter, commencing with an assessment to be collected in the year 1963 and there- after. NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Arden Hills does hereby make the following apportionment of original assessments as contained in said assessment roll of September 9, 1960, and as amended as of August 3, 1961, against the following described properties: III' . . The Clerk Administrator of the City of Arden Hills is hereby authorized to prepare a certified copy of this resolution and to certify the same to the County Auditor of Ramsey County, Minnesota. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hanson , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof& All and the following voted against the same: None whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. ~ .
