RESOLUTION NO. 79.19

RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE ARDEN HILLS
NEWSLETTER PUBLICATION COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the Arden Association has been responsible
for a Village newspaper, and
WHEREAS, they can no longer publish the newsletter,
and,
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills finds that a news-
letter promotes Village identity and cohesiveness and can
disseminate timely and detailed announcements of Village
actions and committees, and
WHEREAS, the Council wishes to continue the news-
letter,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Arden
Hills hereby establishes a Newsletter Committee composed of
a chairman, four to seven members, and an editor, appointed
by the Mayor with Council concurrence after recommendation of
the Committee, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Committee, through
its editor, will have sole responsibility, within the borders
of good taste and general public policy, for publishing a
newsletter and for its content, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the chairman shall
submit summary minutes of Committee meetings to the Clerk
Administrator.

of April, 1979.
