Extract of Binutes of I4eetincr of the
City Council of the City of Arden Hills
RaIasey County, Minnesota
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
. of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Hinnesota, was
duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 30th
day of April, 1979 at 7:30 o'clock p.m.
The follo\'1ing members were present: Mayor Henry J.
Crepeau, Jr., Councilmen Hanson, Wingert and Woo~burn.
and the following were absent: Councilman Crichton
Councilman Wingert
introduced and moved the
adoption of the following resolution1

RESOLUTION APPROVIl.IG PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIOnS AND ORDERING
ADVERTISEt1EUT FOR BIDS ON
IMPROVElm~~ SS-W-P-ST-78-6
t"lHEREAS, pursuant to resolution passed by the City Coun-
cil on November 27, 1978, the City Consulting Engineer has
prepared plans and specifications for Improvement SS-W-P-ST-78-6
and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council
for approval.

THEREFOIm, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN
HILLS, ~lINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are
attached hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk Administrator shall prepare and cause

to be inserted in the Na'1 Brighton Bulletin, the official paper,
and in the Cons~ruction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon
the making of such approved plans and specifications. The
advertisement for Improvement SS-W-P-ST-78-6 shall be published
as required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall
call for bids on the basis of a cash payment for such work, shall
state that the bids will be received by the City Clerk Administra-
tor and Consulting Engineer until 2: 00 0 'clock 1?-.m. on
Tnn t ' 1979, at which time they will be publicly
opene"a n the City Hall by the City Clerk Administrator and
City Consulting Engineer, will then be tabulated, and will
be considered by the Council at 8:00 o'clock !L-.m. on
June 11 , 1979 in the Council Chambers and that no
bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk
Administrator and accompanied by a cash deposit, certified
check or bid bond payable to the Clerk Administrator for ten
percent of the amount of such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution
was duly seconded by Councilman Woodburn
and upon vote
being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: All
and the following voted against: None
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
