Extract of Uinutes of !oieeting of the
City Council of the City of Arden Hills

Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was
. duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 30th
day of April, 1979, at 7:30 o'clock p.m.
The following members were present: Mayor Henry J.
Crepeau, Jr., Councilmen Hanson, Wingert, and Woodburn.
and the following were absent: Councilman Crichton

introduced and moved the adop-
tion of the following resolution:
Resolution No. 79-17
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING
ADVERTISEr.1ENT FOR BIDS ON
IUPROVEl.1E!n' SS-W-P-ST-78-3
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution passed by the City Council
on November 27, 1978, the City Consulting Engineer has pre-
pared plans and specifications for Improvement SS-W~P-ST-78-3
and has presented such plans and specifications to the Council
for approval.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN
HILLS, !4INNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are
attached hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.

2. The City Clerk Administrator shall prepare and' cause
to be inserted in the New Brighton Bulletin, the official
paper, and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for
bids upon the making of such approved p~ans and specifications.

The advertisement for Improve~ant SS-i1-P-ST-7B-3 shall be
published as required by law, shall specify the work to be
done, shall call for bids on the basis of a cash payraent for
such ~1Ork, shall state that the bids will be received by the
City Clerk Administrator and Consulting Engineer until 2 :00 '
o'clock ~.m. on June 7 , 1979, at'l'lhich time
they \1ill be publicly opened in the City Hall by the City Clerk
Administrator and City Consulting Engineer, will then be tab-
ulated, and will be conside~edby the Council at 8:00
0' clock fi.m. on I.June 11 , 1979 in the Council
Chambers and that no bids will be . considered unless sealed. and
filed with the Clerk Administrator and accompanied by a oash
deposit, certified oheck or bid bond payable to the Clerk
Administrator for ten percent of the amount of such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution
was duly seconded by Councilman Woodburn
and upon vote
being taken thereon, the fOllowing voted in favor: All
and the following voted against~ None
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
