Extract of Minutes of Meeting of City Council City of Arden Hills Ramsey County, Minnesota Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall, 1450 west Highway 96, in said City on Monday, the 12th day of July, 1982, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Acting Mayor McAllister and Councilmen Hicks, Johnson and Mulcahy; and the following was absent: Mayor Woodburn. Councilman Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption:' Resolution No. 82-38 b RESOLUTION RELATING TO IMPROVEMENT NO. p-80-1 DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL . WHEREAS, contracts have been let for Improvement No. P-80-1 consisting of the installation of underground power and telephone facilities, decorative lighting, walkways, traffic channelization and landscaping, and necessary appurtenances, on all that property bounded by Harriet Avenue and the westerly extension thereof on the south, S.T.H. 51 on the west, Soo Line south right of way line on'the north, and Lexington Avenue on the east, and WHEREAS, the contract price for such improvement is $393,900.00 and the other expenses incurred or to be incurred in the makJ.ng of 'said improvement amount to $ 122,266.00 so that the total cost of the improvement will be ~516,166.00 and of this cost the City will pay $258,083.00 as its share of the cost. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The cost to be specially assessed is hereby declared ~o be $258,083.00. 2. The City Clerk Administrator, together with the assis- tance of the City Consulting Engineer, shall forthwith calculate ,. . I ... the proper amount to be specially assessed for such work against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the improve- ment affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and she shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in her office for public inspection. The City Clerk Administrator may arrange for the assistance of the Data Processing Division of the County of Ramsey in the preparation of the proposed assessment roll. 3. The City Clerk Administrator shall, upon completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof for their further action and for their setting of an assessment hearing therefor. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Hicks and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All: and the following voted against the same: None: whereupon said resolu- tion was declared duly passed and adopted. . . STATE OF MINNESOTA SS COUNTY OF RAMSEY I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting Clerk Administrator of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, do hereby certify that I have carefully compared the attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on the 12th day of July, 1982, with the original thereof on file in my office, and the same is a full, true and complete transcript insofar as the same relates to Improvement No. P-80-1.
