RESOLUTION REVISING WATER UTILITY RATES
EFFECTIVE APRIL I, 1982
.
WHEREAS, St. Paul rates to supply water have risen
more than 20% over the past two years, while City water utility
rate increases have been held to 7%, and
WHEREAS, St. Paul rates for 1982 have been increased
by 9%, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has reviewed the
water utility rate structure and has recommended that the Council
increase water rates since it's impossible to keep absorbing the
St. Paul increases,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that effective April 1,
1982 the water utility rates be revised as follows:
Water rates will be increased from 72C to 87C/l,OOO gallons.
Quarterly minimum charges will be adjusted as follows:

The Standby and Fire Line rates will not be increased.
The City will continue its policy of having no minimum
charge for senior and totally disabled citizens.
