Extract of Minutes of Meeting
of City Council
City of Arden Bills
Ramsey County, Minnesota
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was
duly held at the City Ball in said City on Monday, the 29th day
of March, 1982, at 7:]0 o'clock p.m.
'the following members were present: Mayor Woodburn and
Councilmen Hollenhorst, Hicks, McAllister and Johnsonl and the
following were absent: None.
Councilman JohrtSon introduced and moved the adOption of
the follOWing resolution:,

RElSOLU'l'ION AWARDING BID FOR
IMPRQVEMENT NO. p-8b-l, PROJECT C
(Bikeways)
WHEREAS, pursuant to advertisement for bids for the above
improvement, according to the plans and specifications thereof
on file in the office of the 'clerk Administrator of said City,
said bids were received on March 18, 1982, at 2:00 o'clock
p.m., opened and tabulated according to law and the following
bids were receiVed complying with the advertisement:

WHEREAS, it appears that Arcon Construction Co. of Mora,
Minnesota, is the lowest responsible bidder at the tabulated
price of $45,267.70.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
Ci ty of Arden Hills, Minnesota:
1. The Mayor and Clerk Administrator are hereby author-
ized and directed to enter into a oontract with Arcon Construc-
tion Co. for $45,267.70 in the name of the City of Arden Hills
for the above improvement accordinq to the plans and specifica-
tions thereof heretofore approved by the City Council and on
file in the office of the City Clerk Administrator.
2. The City Clerk Administrator is hereby authorized and
directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits made
with their bids except the deposits of the successful bidder
and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until contracts
.
have been signed.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution
was duly seconded by Councilman Hicks, and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Alll and
the fOllowing voted against the same: None I whereupon said
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
