RESOLUTION NO. 82-19
REQUESTING THE INSURANCE SERVICES OFFICE
TO CONDUCT A REGULAR INSPECTION OF THE LAKE JOHANNA VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPT.
PRIOR TO DECEMBER 31, 1983
WHEREAS, the Cities of Arden Hills, North Oaks
and Shoreview have entered into a fire protection agree-
ment with the Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department and,
WHEREAS, this agreement specifies the terms,
conditions and standards of fire protection for our three
communities and,
WHEREAS, the three cities Involved expressed
approval and commendation for the, services performed
by the Lake Johanna Volunteer Fire Department and,
WHEREAS, the three cities are currently negotia-
ting a renewal for another five years of this fire protection
agreement and,
WHEREAS, Section 20 of said agreement provides for
an examination of the department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Cities
of Arden Hills, North Oaks and Shorevlew request the Insur-
ance Services Office to conduct their regular inspection of
the department prior to December 31, 1983.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Inspection Is
considered by the cities as supportive to the Lake Johanna
Volunteer Fire Department and a reassurance to the residents
of quality fire protection and that this request Is within
the normal cycle of Inspections by the Insurance Services
Office.
