Extract of Minutes of Meeting
of City Council
City of Arden Hills
Ramsey County, Minnesota
.
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was
duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 8th day
of February, 1982, at 7:30 o'clock p.m.
The following members were present: Mayor Woodburn and
Councilmen McAllister, Hollenhorst and Johnson; and the following
were absent: One Vacancy.
Councilman Johnson introduced and moved the adoption of
the following resolution:
Resolution No. 82-14
RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
ON IMPROVEMENT NO. P-80-l, PROJECT C
(Bikeways)
WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution passed by the City Council
on July 28, 1980, the City Consulting Engineers have prepared
plans and specifications for Improvement No. P-80-l and have
presented such plans and specifications to the Council for
approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA:

1. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are
attached hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. The City Clerk Administrator shall prepare and cause
to be inserted in the New Brighton Bulletin, the official paper,
and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon
the making of such approved plans and specifications. The ad-
vertisement for Improvement No. P-80-l, Project C, shall be

published as required by law, shall specify the work to be done,
shall call for bids upon the basis of a cash payment for such
work, shall state that the bids will be received by the City
Clerk Administrator until 2:00 o'clock p.m. on March 18, 1982,
at which time they will be publicly opened in the City Hall by
the City Clerk Administrator and City Consulting Engineer, will
then be tabulated, and will subsequently be considered by the
Council, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and
filed with the Clerk Administrator and accompanied by a cash
deposit, certified check or bid bond payable to the Clerk Ad-
ministrator for ten percent {lOll of the amount of such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution
was duly seconded by Councilman Hollenhorst and upon vote being
taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Al11 and
the following voted against the same: None 1 whereupon said
resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duly qualified and acting
Clerk Administrator of the City of Arden Hills, Ramsey County,
Minnesota, do hereby certify that I have carefully compared the
attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a regular meeting
of said City Council held on the 8th day of February, 1982, at
7:30 o'clock p.m., with the original thereof on file in my
office and the same is a full, true and complete transcript
therefrom insofar as the same relates to Improvement No. P-80-l,
Project C.
