Extract of Minutes of Meeting of City Council City of Arden Hills Ramsey County, Minnesota Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council of the City of Arden Hills met in regular session at the City Hall on Monday, the 11th day of January, 1982, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Woodburn and Councilmen Johnson and McAllisterl and the following was absent: Councilman Hollenhorstl one vacancy. Councilman Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: Resolution No. 82-7 RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND PROVIDING FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-W-P-ST-81-5 BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Arden Hills as follows: . 1. By resolution adopted December 28, 1981, the Council has directed the City ConSUlting Engineer to prepare a prelimi- nary report as to the feasibility of a proposed improvement including all that property in the general area north of Floral Drive, east of Trunk Highway 10, south of Briarknoll Second Addition, and west of the east boundary of the City park by the installation of sanitary sewer, water, storm drainage facili- ties, bituminous paving, concrete curb and gutter and necessary appurtenances. The Consulting Engineer was also directed to include in the report the estimated cost of the proposed im- provement and as to whether such improvement should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement. The preliminary report and cost estimate have been submitted and considered by the Council and are hereby approved and directed to be placed on file in the office of the City Clerk Administrator. The improvement proposed to be made in the general manner set forth in the report is deSignated as Improvement No. SS-W-P-ST-81-5. 2. The Council shall meet at the City Hall, 1450 West Highway 96, in said City, on February 1, 1982, at 8:30 o'clock p.m. for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the pro- posed improvement under and pursuant to the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, and the Clerk Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to cause notice of the time, place and purpose of that meeting to be published twice in the . . o official newspaper, New Brighton Bulletin, which publications shall be a week apart, and the second publication shall be not less than three days before the date of the hearing. 3. The notice shall be in substantially the following form: . NOTICE OF HEARING ON IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-W-P-ST-8l-5 CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, will meet at the City Hall, 1450 West Highway 96, in said City, on the 1st day of February, 1982, at 8:30 o'clock p.m., to hold a public hearing pursuant to Minne- sota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, on proposed Improve- ment No. SS-W-P-ST-8l-5 including all that property in the general area north of Floral Drive, east of Trunk Highway 10, south of Briarknoll Second Addition, and west of the east boundary of the City park by the installation of sanitary sewer, water, storm drainage facilities, bituminous paving, concrete curb and gutter and necessary appurtenances. The general nature, estimated cost and area proposed to be assessed for Improvement No. SS-W-P-ST-81-5 are deter- mined to be as stated in the foregoing notice, as fully as though the same were separately set forth and resolved herein. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman McAllister, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All ~, and the following voted against the same: None~ whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
