CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
Resolution No. 82-4
WHEREAS, James W. Wingert was elected as
Councilman, serving from January 1, 1974 until December
31, 1980, and
.
WHEREAS, he returned on May 26, 1981, at
personal sacrifice, to serve the City again, in time of
need, as Councilman and Acting Mayor, and
WHEREAS, he also served on many special pro-
jects - as liaison to the Planning Commission for seven
years he contributed extensively to the Comprehensive
Development Plan and to the orderly development of the
City; as Chairman of the Cable Television Advisory Com-
mittee and Director of the North Suburban Cable Commis-
sion he strove to fulfill the needs of the community, and
WHEREAS, prior to his election as City Counci1-
man he was a member of the Planning Commission for two
years, and
WHEREAS, in all undertakings, Jim gave gener-
ous1y and cheerfully of his time and talents to the
benefit of the City of Arden Hills,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Arden
Hills Council extends its condolences to his wife,
Shirley, and his family, and
LET IT BE KNOWN that Arden Hills expresses its
appreciation, and will sorely miss the dedication of
.
James W. Wingert.
