STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF RAMSEY CITY OF ARDEN HILLS RESOLUTION NO. 81-86 A RESOLUTION VACATING CERTI\IN ROADS LOCATED IN THE PLAT OF SHADY OAKS ADDITION WHEREAS, the Arden Hills CIty Council by Resolution No. 81-72, adopted on October 13, 1981, Initiated a proceed- ing under Section 412.851 of Minnesota Statutes, as amended, to determine whether It would be in the public interest ~o vacate certain roads In the plat of Shady Oaks Addition, and WHEREAS, the Clerk-Adm!nlstrator of the City of Arden Hills pub.lshed In the New Brlqhton Bulletin on October 15 and 22, 1981 a Notice of Public Hearing on the aforesal d proposed vacation and also caused copies of said Notice of Public Hear- ing to ~ pos~ed for a period of at least two (2) weeks, com- menclng~/.f, 1981, at the Arden Hills City Hall, the Ramsey County Library, Arden Hills Branch, on County Road E-2, and on the bulletin board at the concessIon stand In Tony Schmidt Park, three of the most pubic places In the City of Arden Hills, and WHEREAS, a publ Ie hearing before the City Councl I was conducted on Monday, November 30, 1981 commencing at 8:55 o'clock P.M., and WHEREAS, no one appeared to oppose the proposed vacatIon, and KURT LAUGHINGHOUSE, a representative of Derrick Land Company, whIch proposes to develop ~he Shady Oaks Sub- division, voiced his approval of the proposed vacation, NOW, THERE FORE, BE I THEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Arden Hi lIs that It Is In the publiC Interest of the City of Arden HI lis to vacate certain roads located In the plat of Shady Oaks Addition, the legal.descrlp- tlon of which Is as follows, to-wit: All of Soo Place as dedicated in the plat of Shady Oaks Addition; all that part of Wesley Avenue as dedicated in the plat of Shady Oaks Addition which lies northerly of the easterly extension of the northerly line of Lot 4, Block 2, Shady Oaks Addition and al I that part of Lakevlew Avenue now known as North Pascal Avenue as dedicated in the plat of Shady Oaks Addl~lon which lies northerly of the follow- Ing described line: Beginning at the northeast corner of the south 35 feet of Lot 5, Block 2, Shady Oaks Addition; thence easterly along the easterly extension of the north line of the south 35 feet of said Lot 5 to the centerline of said Lake- vIew Avenue; thence southerly along said centerline to the Intersection with the westerly extension of the north line of the south 33 feet of Lot 4, Block 2, Shady Oaks AdditIon; thence easterly'along the westerly extension of the north lIne of the south 33 feet of said Lot 4 to the west line of said Lot 4 and there terminating. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the,Clerk-Admlnlstrator is hereby authorized and directed to cause a certIfied copy '"" . I ,"" of this Resolution to be recorded in the office of the Ramsey County Recorder and to prepare and cause to be presented to the Land Records DivisIon of the Ramsey County Department of Property Taxation and recorded In the office of said County Recorder a Notice of Completion of Vacation Proceeding as required by Section 412.851 of Minnesota Statutes, as emended.
