PROPOSEO DETACHED PATHWAY
POLICY OF RAMSEY COUNTY
WHEREAS. the Ramsey County Department of Public
Works has been requested to formulate a polJcy for the Instal-
lation and maintenance of future detached bikeway facilities
on County highway rights of way. and
WHEREAS. the Department of Public Works Is soliciting
Input from municipalities prior to enactment Qf the polley.

WHEREAS, said polley proposes that It shall be the
responsibility of the municipality to own, operate and maintain
the pathways,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Arden Hills
City Councl I believes that It Is the responsibility of Ramsey
County to Install. own, operate and maintain future detached
pathways constructed on Ramsey County highway rights of way.

day of July, 1981.
