HomeMy WebLinkAbout81-051 1 . . t Extract of Minutes of Meeting of City COuncil City of Arden Hills Ramsey COunty, Minnesota Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City COuncil of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was duly held in the City Hall, 1450 West Highway 96, in said City on Monday, the 27th day of July, 1981, at 7:30 o'clock p.m. The following members were present: Mayor Woodbux;n and Councilmen Johnson, Wingert, McAllister and Hollenhorst; and the following were absent: None. Councilman McAllister introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: Resolution No. 81-51 RESOLUTION RELATING TO IMPROVEMENT NO. SS-W-80-2 DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMEl~T ROLL WHEREAS, contracts have been let for Improvement No. SS-W-80-2 of the City of Arden Hills in the area bounded by County Road E on the north, Old Snelling Avenue on the east, and Arden Lane on the south and west in the City of Arden Hills by the installation of sanitary sewer and watermain, and neces- sary appurtenances, and WHEREAS, the foregoing is in the area described in the legal notice relating to the original hearing on the improvement and the resolution relating thereto, and the contract price for such improvement is $ 10,435.00 and the other expenses incurred or to be incurred in the mak.ing of said improvement amount to $ 5, l79 .67 so that the total cost of the improvement will be $ 15.614.67, and of this cost the City will pay $ -0- as its share of the cost. NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The cost to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $ l'i 61 4 6 7 '. . . ~ 2. The City Clerk Administrator, together with the assis- tance of the City Consulting Engineer, shall forthwith calculate thp proper amount to be specially assessed for such work against ev y assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the improve- ment affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and she shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in her office for public inspection. Tne City Clerk Administrator may arrange for the assistance of the Data Processing Division of the COunty of Ramsey in ti.e preparation of the proposed assessment roll. 3. The City Clerk Administrator shall, upon completion of such proposed assessment, notify the Council thereof for their further action and for their setting of an assessment hearing therefor. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Wingert, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All; and the following voted against the same: None, whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. hUY ~~ ~~ f(~~~ .~
