Extract of Minutes of Meetinq of City COuncil City of Arden Bills Ramsey County, HiMesota Pursuant: to due call and notice thereof, a reqular meeting of the City COuncil of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was duly held at the City Ball in said City on Monday, the 29th day of June, 1981, at: 7:30 o'clock p.m. 'l'he following members were present: Mayor Woodburn and COuncU...n Wingert:, Johnson, McAllister and Hollenhorst, and the following were absent: None. CouncilllllUl Wingert: introduced and IIIOved the adoption of the following resolution: Resolution No. 81-45 RESOLUTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVER'l'ISBMENT FOR BIDS ON IMPBOVEMEN'l' NO. ST-81-2 WHEREAS, pursuant: to resolution passed by the City Council on May 26, 1981, the City Consulting Engineers have prepared plans and specifications for Improvement No. S'1'-81-2 and have presented such plans and specifications to the Council for approval. NOW, "l'HEREI'ORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City COuncil of the City of Arden Bills, Minnesota: 1. Such plans and specifications, copies of which are attached hereto, and made a part: hereof, are hereby approved. 2. '.lbe CUy Clerk Mp'inistrator shall prepare and cause to be inserted. in the New Brighton Bulletin, the official paper, and in the COnstruction Bulletin, an advertisement for bids upon the making of such approved plans and specifications. '.lbe ad- vertisement for Improvement No. ST-8l-2 shall be published as required by law, shall specify the work 'to be done, shall call . . ~ ... for bids upon the basis of a cash payment for such work, shall state that the bids will be received by the City Clerk Adminis- trator until 2:00 o'clock ..2.!-m. on Jul.y 31 . , 1981, at which time they wlll be publicly opened 1Q the C1ty Hall by the City Clerk Administrator and City COnsulting Enqineer, will then be tabulated, and will subsequently be considered by the Council, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed and filed with the Clerk Mministrator and accompanied by a cash deposit, cer- tified check or bid bond payable to the Clerk Administrator for ten percent (lOt) of the amount of such bid. The IIIOtion for the adoption of the foreqoinq resolution was duly seconded by COuncilman McAllister, and upon vote being taken thereon, the followinq voted in favor thereof: All, and the following voted against the same: None,. whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. ~y.' ;~ ~~
