Resolution No. 81-42
RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING FEES
FOR ANIMAL CONTROL
WHEREAS, the City Code of Ordinances of Arden Hills, Section
5-59, provides that i.pound.ent fees are to be established by
Resolution, and
WHEREAS, the ADima1 Pound Agreement between the City of Arden
Hills and Brighton Veterinary Clinic astablishes additional charges
for animal control,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following charges
are hereby established:
1. $10.00 per animal for pick up.
2. $ 4.00 per day for boarding dogs.
3. $ 3.00 per day lor boarding cats.
4. $ 5.00 per day for isolating dogs.
5. $ 3.50 per day for isolating cats.
6. $12.00 per animal weighing up to 39 1bs,
delivered by the City, to be destroyed
in a proper and humans mannar.
7. $15.00 per animal weighing 40 1bs. or
more delivered by the City to be destroyed
in a proper and humane manner.
8. $9.00 per animal to dispose of dead animals
delivered by the City.
9. Owner of claimed animals will pay 100% of
medical charges.
10. $75.00 per month for administrstion fee.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution supercedes Resol-
ution Nos. 80-6 and 80-8, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that thia Resolution be effective
July 1, 1981.
Passed by the Arden Hills City Council on the 22nd day of
June 1981.
