May 26, 1981
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was
held in the City Hall in said City on TUesday, May 26, 1981, at
7:30 o'clock p.m.
Tlle fOllowing members were present: Mayor Woodburn anCI.
Councilmen Johnson, HOllenhorst and McAllisterl and the following
were absent: one vacancy.
After a discussion of the views and c01l1lllents of the persons
present at the public feasibility hearing of l1arch 30, 1981,
Councilman Bol1eohorst then 'introduced the following resolution
and IlIOved its adoption:

RESOLU'l'ION ORDERING 'l'BE CONSTRUCTION OF
IMPROVEMEN'l' NO. 8'1'-81-2
UNDER AND PURSUAN'l' TO MINNESOTA STATUTES, CHAPTER 429
BE IT ImSOLVED by the Council of the City of Arden Bills,
Minnesota, that in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota
Statutes 1961, Chapter 429, as amended, the Council held a
public hearing on the proposed construction of Improvement No.
ST-81-2 consisting of the installation of storm drainage facil-
ities, inc1udinq reinforced concrete pipe ranging in size from
18 inches through 72 inches in diameter; construction of deten-
tion basins, outlet structures and miscellaneous appurtenancesl
and procurement of drainage easements, including that portion
of the City of Arden Hills bounded by Lexington Avenue on the
east, County Road E on the south, S.T.B. 51 and Hamline Avenue
on the west, and westerly extension of Victoria Avenue on the
north, as described in the NOtice of Hearing at a cost presently
estimated at $1,533,782.00 of which Arden Hills share is esti-
mated at $945,521.00, and substantially in accordance with the
preliminary report as to the feasibility thereof which is now
on file in the ofifice of the City Clerk Adm1nistratorl and
having considered the views of all interested persons and being
fully advised in the premises, the Council does hereby determine
and order that said improvement shall be constructed and finan-
ced, and special assessments shall be levied therefore, pursuant
to said Chapter 429, and that the area proposed to be assessed
therefor shall include the property as described in the NOtice
of Hearing. The City Engineer is directed to prepare and submit
to the Council the final plans and specifications.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution
was duly secondec:l by Councilman Johnson, and upon roll call
vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof:
All; and the following voted against the same: None; whereupon
said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.

I, the undersigned, being the duiy qualified and acting
Clerk Administrator of the City of Arden Hills, Ramsey County,
Minnesota, hereby certify that I have carefully compared the
attached and foregoing extract of minutes of a meeting of the
City Council of said City held on the date therein indicated with
the original of said minutes on file in my office and that said
extract is a full, true and correct transcript of said minutes,
insofar as they relate to the proposed construction of Improve-
ment No. ST-81-2 under and pursuant to Minnesota Statutes,
Chapter 429 t as amended.
