Pursuant. to due call and notice thereof, a reC)Ular meetiDg
of the Cit.y CCNnCil of the City of Arden Ifil18, Minnesota, was
duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, the -1J..r.hday

'l'he following members were present: Acting Mayor Robert
Woodburn, Council.en Maurice Johnson, Diana McAllister, Janet
Bollenhorst.
and the fOllowing were absent.: Mayor Charlie Crichton
councilman Bollenhorft intJ.'Oduaed and moved the adoption
of the following resolution:

RESOL1J'1'ION APPROVING PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS AI,D ORDERING
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS ON
IMPROVEMENT P-80-1, PROJECT B

1mEREAS, pursuant to resolution passed by the City council
on July 28, 1980, the City Consulting Engineers have prepared
plaDS and specif1caUons for Imp~t. P-8o-l and have
presented such plans and specifications to the Council for
~
approval.
'mBREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TIIB Cl'l'Y COONCIL OF ARDEN

HILLS, MINNESOTA:
1. Such plans and specificatioDS, copies of which are
atta ched hereto, and made a part hereof, are hereby approved.
2. 'l'he City Clerk Administrator shall prepare and cawse
to be inserted in the New Brighton Bulletin, 1:I1e official paper,

and in the Construction Bulletin, an advertisenent for bids
upon the making of such approved plans and specifications. The
advertisement for Improvement P-80-1, Project B shall be pub-
lished as required by law, shall specify the lrlork to be done,
shall. call for bids upon the basis of a cash payment for such
work, shall state that the bids will be received by the City
Clerk aaministrator until 2:00 o'Clock.....L... n. on ....J.UIl.. 10 ,
1981, at which time they will be publicly opened in the City Hall
by the City Clerk Administrator and City Consulting Engineer,
will then be tabulated, and will subsequently be considered by
the Council, and that no bids will be considered unless sealed
and filed with the Clerk Administrator and accompanied by a
cash deposit, certified check or bid bond payable to the Clerk
Administrator for ten percent (10\) of the amount of such bid.
The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution
was duly seconded by Councilman Jobnson
and upon vot:.e
being taken thereon, the following voted in favor: All

\mereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
