Extract of Minutes of Meeting
of City Council
City of Arden Hills
Ramsey County, ninnesota
1-1arch 9, 1981
Pursuant to due call arid notice thereof, the City Council
of the City of Arden Hills met in regular session at the City
Hall on Monday, the 9th day of t1arch, 1981, at 7:30 o'clock p.m.
The following members were present: Mayor Charlie Crichton,
Councilmen Maurice Johnson and Janet Hollenhorst
and the following liere absent: Councilmen Robert Woodburn and
Diane McAllister
Councilman Hollenhorst introduced the following resolu-
tion and moved its adoption:
Resolution No. 81-18
RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND PROVIDING
FOR PUBLIC HEARING ON IHPROVE!"1ENT NO. P-81-l
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Arden Hills
as follows:
1. By resolution adopted February 23, 1981, the Council
has directed the City consulting engineer to prepare a pre-
liminary report as to the feasibility of a proposed improvement
including all properties abutting Grey Fox Road and its exten-
sion thereof between S.T.H. 51 and Lexington Avenue by the
installation of concrete curb and gutter, bituminous surfacing,
miscellaneous drainage facilities, necessary appurtenances,
and procurement of easements. The consulting engineer was also
directed to include in the report the estimated cost of the
proposed improvement and as to whether such improvement should
best be made as proposed or in connection with some other
improvement. The preliminary report and cost estimate have
been submitted and considered by the Council and are hereby
approved and directed to be placed on file in the office of the
City Clerk Administrator. The improvement proposed to be made
in the general manner set forth in the report is designated as
Improvement No. P-8l-1.
2. The Council shall meet at the City Hall, 1450 West
Highway 96, in said City, on March 30, 1981, at 7,30 o'clock
p.m. for the purpose of holding a public hearing on the pro-
posed improvement under and pursuant to the provisions of
l-finnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, and the Clerk Administrator

official newspaper, New Br!qhton Bulletin, which publications
shall be a week apart, and the second publication shall be not
less than three days before the date of the hearinq.

ON IMPROVEMENT NO. P-81-1
CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the City of
Arden Hills, Minnesota, will meet at the City Hall, 1450 West
Highway 96, in said City, on the 30th day of r-tarch, 1981, at
7:30 o'clock p.m., to hold a public hearing pursuant to Minne-
sota Statutes, Chapter 429, as amended, on proposed Improve-
ment No. P-81-1 including all properties abutting Grey Fox
Road and its extension thereof between S.T.H. 51 and Lexington
Avenue by the installation of concrete curb and gutter, bitumi-
nous surfacing, miscellaneous drainage facilities, necessary
appurtenances, and procurement of easements. The foregoing is
all substantially in accordance with a preliminary engineering
report which is now on file and open to public inspection in
the office of the City Clerk Administrator.

to be assessed for Improvement No. P-81-1 are determined to be
as stated in the foreqoing notice, as fully as though the same
were separately set forth and resolved herein.
The IIlOtion for the adoption of the foreqoing resolution
was duly seconded by councilman Johnson

being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Charlie
Crichton~ Councilmen Maurice Johnson and Janet Hollenhorst
and the roll~fing voted against the same: None
whereupon the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
