Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting
of the City Council of the City of Arden Hills, Hinnesota, was
duly held at the City Hall in said City on Monday, the 23rd day
of February, 1981, at 7:30 o'clock p.m.
The following IllEllllbers were present: Hayer Crichton and
Councilmen Johnson, !tcAllister, Hollenhorst and WOOdburn7 and
the following were absent: None.
Councilman Hollenhorst introduced and IIlOved the adoption
of the following r_olution:

RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF
UPDATED F.E:ASIBILl'rY REPORT ON IUPROVEMENT 5"1'-81-2
l'lHEREAS, it is proposed to improve that portion of the City
of Arden Hills bounded by Lexington Avenue on the east, County
Road E on the south, S.T.H. 51 and Hamline Avenue on the west,
and westerly extension of Victoria Avenue on the north by the
installation of storm drainage facilities including reinforced
concrete pipe ranging in size from 18 inches through 72 inches
in diameter7 construction of detention basins, outlet struc-
tures and miaoellaneous appurtenances 7 and procurement of
drainage easements7 and to assess the benefitted property for
all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to
Minn. Statutes Secs. 429.011 to 429.111 (Minn. Statutes 1961) .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA:

Tbat the proposed illlprovement be referred to the City Con-
sul ting Bnqineers for study and that. they are instructed to
report. to the Council with all convenient speed, advising the
Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed
improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be
made as proposed or in connect.ion with some other improvement.,
and the estimated cost of the improvement as reeollllll8Dded.
The lIIOt.ion for the adoption of the foreqoing resolut.ion
was duly seconded by Councilman Johnson and upon vote being
taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: All ~ and
the following voted against the same: None~ whereupon said
resolution was declared duly passed and adopt.ed.
