Motions to approve, table, or deny the following:
• Resolution 2023-041 Appointing Katherine Schneider as the Youth Commissioner to the
EDC and Resolution 2023-042 Appointing Sreya Subramanian to the EDC as a regular
member.
Background
Per Ordinance, the Economic Development Commission is to be comprised of nine (9) regular
members, four (4) of which must be residents.
At its July 10, 2023, meeting, the City Council adopted Ordinance 2023-007, adding one additional
member to serve to the Economic Development Commission in the capacity as Youth Commissioner.
Interviews have been conducted that included Economic Development Commission Councilmember
liaison Emily Rousseau, Staff liaison Senior Planner Elena Fransen and Community Development
Director Jessica Jagoe. It is the recommendation that Council consider making the following
appointments:
• Katherine Schneider as Youth Commissioner for a term ending August 31, 2024.
• Sreya Subramanian for a term ending December 31, 2024.

RESOLUTION APPOINTING KATHERINE SCHNEIDER
TO THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the City Council appoints residents to serve in an advisory capacity to the City
Council regarding economic development, redevelopment and related community development
issues.
WHEREAS, at its July 10, 2023, meeting, the City Council adopted Ordinance 2023-007,
adding one additional member to serve to the Economic Development Commission in the capacity as
Youth Commissioner.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by t he City Council of the City of Arden Hills,
Minnesota that Katherine Schneider is appointed to the Economic Development Commission as the
Youth Commissioner with a term expiring on August 31, 2024.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS 24TH DAY

TO THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the City Council appoints residents to serve in an advisory capacity to the City
Council regarding economic development, redevelopment and related community development
issues.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by t he City Council of the City of Arden Hills,
Minnesota that Sreya Subramanian is appointed to the Economic Development Commission with a
term expiring on December 31, 2024.
