Gnd his attorney, Dick Jones, were present end Informed the Council of a possible Well Ordinance vlola- t6on, and requested the Council to have Winfield Wast, Village Plumbing Inspector, re-Inspect the well Installation. Mr. Salltros stated his belief that 6" casing was not used ss required by the Well Ordinance and as stated on the well affldsvlt submitted by the well contractor. He stated that final Inspection of this well was made In December, 1965. ' and he moved Into the new dwelling on December 21. 1965. Clerk Lorraine Stromquist Informed the Council that this matter was mentioned previously. Mr. West stated that the ~011 h~s been a~provod and there Is nothing further to Inspect; he bell$ves any further action should come from the Council. There was SOMe discussion concerning the length of the terms of the members ~f the Planning Commission. Mayor Nethercut Iniormed the residents that the Council does have an op- tion on who takes the final action on matters and the Council has decided that this should be the Council considering ~e recommendations from the Planning Commission. Attorney Courtney read the Ordinance In Its entirety. Trustee Bjorndahl moved approval of the second and final reading of an Ordinance licensing the pursuit of certain trades In the Village of Arden Hills, Including heating, gas Installation, Installation of heating systems, well drilling, and Installation of residential sewers; providing ~Icense fees therefor and penalties for violation; subject to the addition 01 speci- fying that the license fee for the balance of 1966 be $6.00; and waiving the requirement of the third reading; seconded by Trustee Hoffmann; motion carried. He stated that he wss unable'to get a price on this unit, but thought It would cost under $100.00. Robert McNeish Informed the Council that his committee has also bean study- Ing this matter and has submitted to Trustee Hoffmann material concerning an Improved system. J.
