Minutes of Special Meeting
Council of the Village of A~den Hills
Mond8Y. May 17, 1965
The meeting Was called to order at 8:00 p.m. by Mayor Kennedy.
Roll Call: P~esent = Mayor Kennedy, T~ustee Crepeau, OlmenD
Nethercut and Lang
Absent = None

Also Present = Administrative Clerk Lorraine StromqUist.
Atty. Vincent P. Courtney and members of the
Ordinance Committee = John Sullivan and Donald
Zehm.
Mayor Kennedy opened 'the meeting by informing the [roup of the
vast amount of preliminary work per,.ol:'med by John Sexton to
accomplish a codification of the present village ordinances. ~

Mr. SUllivan ond Mr. ~ehm explained the proposed codificat~on to
the Council members.

is adopted, only the notice of 8doption will need to be pUbliShed.
After considerable discussion. motion Was made by Trustee Crepeau,
seconded by Trustee Lang, that Atty. Courtney prepare and SUbmit
to the Council a resolution for adoption of the Ordinance Codifi=
cation; motion carried.
Atty. Courtney was requested to submit copies of the p~oposed
resolution to the Council and the Ordinance Committee for studYn
Atty. Courtney Was requested to review existing ordinances and
compare with the present practIces = possibly some ordinances should
be amended.
The meeting Was adjourned at 9:30 pomo
