A discussion ,was had relating to Arden Bills citizens who spoke at the public hearing for supplemental reassessments on Sanitary Sewer Improvement No.2 on Monday, July 16, 1962 at the Village Hall in the Village of Arden Hills. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Stromquist , and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: All Present. and the following voted against the same: None. whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. Kennedy then introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND CONFIRMING REASSESSMENTS FOR SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT NO.2 BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Arden' Hills, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The amount proper and necessary to be specially reassessed at this time for Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. 2 against every assess- able lot, piece or parcel of land affected thereby has been duly calculated upon ,the basis of benefits, without regard to cash valuation, in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, and notice has been duly published, as required by law that this Council would meet to hear, consider and pass upon all objections, if any, and said proposed reassessment has at all times since itsfiling been open for public inspection, and an opportunity has been given to all interested personste present their objections, if any, to such proposed reassessments and said proposed reassessment has been amended as to certain parcels of land, by resolution duly adopted this date. . 2. This Council, having heard and considered all objections so presented, and being fUlly advised in the premises, finds that each of the 19ts, pieces and parcels of land enumerated in the proposed reassessment as so amended was and is specially benefited by the construction of said improvement in not less than the amount of the reassessment set opposite the description of each such lot, piece and parcel of land, respectively, and such amount so set out is hereby levied against each of the respective ~ots, pieces and parcels of land therein described. 3. The proposed reassessments as amended are hereby adopted and confirmed as the proper special assessments for each of said lots, pieces and parcels of land respectively, and the reassessment against each parcel, together with interest at the rate of 5% per annum accruing on the full amount thereof from time to time unpaid, shall " II' . Kennedy then introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR HEARINGS ON ASSESSMENTS FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS NUMBERED 3, 4 AND 5. BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Arden Bills, Minnesota as follows: 1. The proposed assessment roll is now on file and open to public inspection by all persons interested, in the office of the Village Clerk. The entire amount assessed against esch parcel of land will be payable, unless prepaid, in ten (10) equal con- . secutive annual installments, the first of such installments to be payable with general taxes for the year 1962, collectible with such taxes during the year 1963. The first installment will be payable with interest at the rate of five percent (5%) per annum on the entire assessment from the date of the resolution levying the same to December 31, 1963, and each subsequent installment will be payable with one year's interest at said rate on all unpaid installments, except that no interest will be charged if the entire assessment as to any parcel is paid at the office of the Treasurer within thirty (30) days from the date of adoption of the assessment roll. , The general nature of Street Improvement No.3 consists of the grading and surfacing of the village streets described below, including the construction of storm sewers necessary and incidental thereto. The area proposed to be assessed for the improvement includes each lot and parcel of land abutting on a street desig- nated below or any portion thereof, or situated within a platted one-half block abutting on such street or portion thereof: . Glenarden Court from Skiles Lane south to Glenarden Road. Glenarden Road from Arden Place south and then west to Snelling Ave. Cannon Avenue from Service Lane to Dunlap Street. Trunk Highway 51 access road from Tiller Lane to Cannon Avenue. Dunlap Street from Ingerson Road to Cannon Avenue. Tiller Lane from Bamline Avenue to Lexington Avenue. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the council of the Village of Arden Bills, Minnesota will meet at the Village Hall looated at 1450 W. Kenne~ then introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION ADOPTING AND CONFIRMING REASSESSMENTS FOR SANITARY SEWER IMPROVEMENT NO. 3 BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Arden Bills, Minnesota, as follows: 1. The amount proper and necessary to be specially reassessed at this time for Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. 3 against every assess- able lot, piece or parcel of land affected thereby has been duly calculated upon the basis of benefits, without regard to cash valuation, in accordance with the provisions of Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, and notice has been duly published, as required by law that this Council would meet to hear, consider and pass upon all objections, if any, and said proposed reassessment has at all times since its filing been open for public inspection, and an opportunity has been given to all interested persons to present their objections, if any, to such proposed reassessments and said proposed reassessment has been amended as to certain parcels of land, by resolution duly adopted this date. . 2. This Council, having heard and considered all objections so presented, and being fully advised in the premises, finds that each of the lots, pieces and parcels of land enumerated in the proposed reassessment as so amended was and is specially benefited by the construction of said improvement in not less than the amountof the reassessment set opposite the descrt&ion of each such lot, piece and parcel of land, respectively, and such amount so set out is hereby levied against each of the respective lots, pieces and parcelS of land therein described. 3. The Village Clerk shall, as soon as may be, prepare and transmit to the Councy Auditor a certified duplicate of the reassess- ment roll, with each installment and interest on each unpaid assessment set forth separately, to be ,extended upon the proper tax lists of the County, and the County Auditor shall thereafter collect said reassessmenis in the manner provided by law, in substitution for the assessments originally levied upon said respective parcels. The motion for the adoption stromquist of the foregoing resolution was dUly seconded by , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof; All present. and the following voted against the same: None. whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
