Also had a question regarding drainage. Mr. Leslie C. Teien, 1893 Beckman: He has a wide lot. Sewer only extends 15 feet on hisproperty. He thought he was being assessed as if it was 2 lots. Didn't believe that two houses could be built on . the property. Mr. William J. Carey, 1870 Beckman: Has a pie shaped lot and felt assessment was too high. Mr. Henry O. Blom, 3197 Shorewood Drive: Question re easement. Correspondence was also received fram the following: Mr. John Wolf, Jr., 1970 Stowe Avenue: Has 2 lots but because of location of his house he felt second lot was not large enough for an additional house. It was moved by Kennedy, seconded by crepeau that the hearing be adjourned. He said other people with lots ,comparable to his were assessed less. Mr. Vernon Smith, 1175 Edgewater st.: His complaint relates to property he .owns on Lake Josephine. The sewer ends 25 feet from his property and he has a full assessment. . Evelyn C. Paquin, 1203 Edgewater Road: She wasn I t assessed and wanted to know if sewer is available to her. .0 John E. Keiser, 3564 N rth Snelling: It was his understanding that a stub line was to go from the sewer to his property line. It was never put in. He's connected and paid for entire connection fram his house to the sewer. Mr. Dr. John V. Farkas, 3369 N. Snelling Avenue: Asked why he was assessed in Improvement No. 1 and Improvement No.3. Also said he's been charged for 3 connections when he only has one, and footage of 280 feet when it's a 140 foot lot. .Mr. Wayne L. Heiman, 1412 Ta.lisman Curve: His questions related to the property at 3255 North Lexington, which is unplatted acreage. He said that even if the property would be developed, much of it would be unusable. Mr. George P. Zilliox, 1125 W. County Road E: Had a question re total lineal feet on County Road E .plus some acreage charges. Mr. Raymond W. Stolp, 3235 North Lexington: He has 80 feet of pipe and a 122 foot frontage. Wanted to know what the additional $2.50 a foot was for, for the other 40 feet. A housecouldn I t be built there. The following correspondence was also discussed: Mr. Worth Read, 3162 Hamline Avenue North: They have three stub charges and are not sure there's room for two houses on the area next to their present home and wondered if this was excessive. Adolph Meyer, Thomas B. Meyer and otto A. Petsch, 1670 Johanna Blvd.: They stated it was a problem of assessing the wrong person. $802 is assessed to Mr. otto Petsch and this property belongs to the Meyer Governor Company. They'd like this assessed to Mr. Thomas Meyer instead of otto Petsch. . Sisters of st. Joseph of Carondelet, Hamline and County Road E: A portion of the property for which they were assessed had been taken by the State of Minnesota in a condemnation proceeding, and a portion had been sold to American oil Company. It was moved by Kennedy, seconded by crepeau that the hearing be adjourned. Member Kennedy introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLU'l'ION DECLARING COST TO BE ASSESSED AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT WHEREAS, contracts have been let for Street Improvement No. 3 of the Village of Arden Hills, in the area described in the legal notice thereof and the resolution thereto, and the contract prices and all exppnses incurred or to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount to $ so that the total cost of the improvement will be $ 231,921.20 f and of this cost the village will pay $ 117.1lli.00 as its share of the cost, NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Arden Hills, Minnesota, as follows: ~ 1.
