Motion by crepeau. seoonded by Olmen that members of the election boards and counting boards be paid $1.50 per hour. Carried. Motion made by stromqUist. seoonded by Crepeau that the salary of Charlotte McNiesh of Village Clerk's office be increased to $2.00 per hour effective August 1. 1962. Carried. Letter of June 29. 1962 from Minnetonka Electric Company objecting to Village .license fee was i'ead by Clerk and referred to Vil1a~e Attorney. Letter of June 27~ 1962 from J. M. Lambertp President of McGulreis Liquors Inc. advising of a change of offioers of the corporation was l'ead by Clerk. Latter to ba filed with 1962 liquor applicaUon. Council requested Mr. Kennedy and rilI'. Ka:!'r to work with their committees on a study of upkeep and storage of existing Village ~pSo ~s. Stromquist presented Council with a name and address file of Village res idents as compiled by the Arden Hills League of Wome!! Voters under the direction of Charlotte MoNiesh and Vera Langar. Council expressed their gratitude and requested Mayor Ashbach to write to the LVIV a letter of thanks. . Drainage Problems Mr. Purcell, 1948 Glenview Ave., requested that a swamp Caused by fill from the sewer projeot be drained ~ referred to Trustee Olmen.
