The Council agreed to meeto ~~. Kennedy's Report Hockey Rink ~ Lake Johanna Mr. Kennedy ln1'ol'med the Council thnt a request from Mro Harmon. Mounds View Recreational Director. for boards for the hockey rink which would cost approximately $750.00. Mr. Kennedy sugeested that the request be t~bled until next year. Mr. Kennedy also informed the Council of the i~dequgte wiring of the Warming house at the rink on Lake Johanna which results in excess electricity being used. Referred to ~~. Crepeau to confer with the electrician to rewire said building to enable the warming house lights to be on independently of the outside rink lights, Mr. Crepeau's Report Fire Protection Contract Mr. Ol'epeau presented the above contrsct between the Villars of Arden Hills snd the Lake Johanna Fire lJepartment for the year 19020 Referred to Mr. Courtneyo . 373l New Brighton Road - Nuisance Complaint Mr. Crepeau informed the Council of' a complaint t;1gainst the owner of the above property. Mr. Paul Milton. Said complaint 'l,leged that a junk yard WaS being established. evidenced by the dismantling of a truck on the premises. Referred to Mr. Courtney. Mr. Las Susvenson at the aoove address started work for sewer connection and is unable.to finish, because of the cold weather.. The backfilling is not complete. leaving a trench on his property. Mounds View Property AOQuired by Arden Hills n'lX'. Courtney ih1:'drmed the Council that of the four pa%'cals of property acquired from Mounds View in 1959. two of the parcels have since been sold. One parcel has back taxes and interest assessed against it 1n 'i;he amount of' $200.00 - referred to Mr. Courtney to atten.pt to have this amount abated until such time as the deed is registered, and also to check on the status of the fourth parcel.
