RESOLUTION NO.2024-017
RESOLUTION APPROVING A SITE PLAN REVIEW
AT 1230 RED FOX ROAD AND
1221 CUMMINGS PARK DRIVE
WHEREAS, City Staff processed a complete land use application for a Site Plan Review
for the properties located at 1230 Red Fox Road and 1221 Cummings Park Drive ("Subject
Properties"); and
WHEREAS, the City of Arden Hills ("The Applicant") is proposing to construct an eight
(8) foot tall security fence around the water tower that would be located within the required front
yard and in front of the principal structure on the Subject Properties; and
WHEREAS, the Subject Properties fall under an Industrial Zoning District and are guided
as Industrial and Utility on the Land Use Plan; and
WHEREAS, a Site Plan Review is required for fencing located in front of the principal
structure in Business and Industrial Zoning Districts; and
WHEREAS, the City Council directed Staff to prepare a Land Use Application Public
Policy Notification to notify all property owners within 500 feet of Subject Property when a request
for the Planning Commission is to occur related to a land use application that does not require a
public hearing; and
WHEREAS, the City's obligation has been met where the Arden Hills Planning
Commission reviewed the application on March 6, 2024. All written comments submitted in
advance of the meeting were presented to the Planning Commission; and
WHEREAS the Planning Commission considered the Applicant's request for a Site Plan
Review and, as such voted 6-0 in favor of recommending approval as presented.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ARDEN HILLS:
Herby adopts Resolution 2024-017 approving Planning Case 24-003 for a Site Plan Review
for the properties located at 1230 Red Fox Road and 1221 Cummings Park Drive to install an eight
(8) foot tall security fencing around the perimeter of the water tower.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council approves Planning Case 24-003 for
a Site Plan Review at 1230 Red Fox Road and 1221 Cummings Park Drive, based on the findings
of fact and the submitted plans in the April 8, 2024 Report to the City Council.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS 8TH DAY
OF APRIL, 2024.
