Chairman Mack reported that he has ar- ranged for the counci 1 to meet wi th them on November 6th, at 8 P.M., at the fire department. He will arrange a separate pre'Vious meetiIlg with the SpJ!'ing Lab Park Fire Depariment. ~e meetings are far the purpose of composing differences between the council's resolution of October 15th and the departments' proposals of October 10th and 12th. ~a clerk 'll&S directed to write Mr. Freitag of the Fire Underwriters Inspection Bu.reau that it is expected to concJnde the contracts in about a week: or ten days. and that we are being furnished fire protection in the meantime. Village Attorney Mack: reported on an ordinance governing basenent homes and was directed to prepare one prohibiting then entirely. Public Works: Chairnan, Delange reported tlvl.t he has issued Road Work Orders dated October lith am October 23rd. Constable Phiffer reported that his auto insurance has been increased . about $25.00 this year because his car is being used for police purposes.
