Swenson et al for permission to reppen culvert located on Highway Nc. 10, 300 feet west of Hamline avenue; Cummings moved and Doepner seconded a motion, which was carried, to refer the petition to the Public Works Committee. OFFICIAL NEWSPAPER: The Clerk reported that he invited bids from five newspapers for the pu.blication of legal notices, e to., of whic'h two resp onded, that of The Rose ~ibune being the lowest; he thereupon introduced the following: . "RESOlliTION NO. ~ - DESIGJ",-TING OFFICIAL NEWSl'Al'ER. "WHEREAS The Rose Tribune, 1286 Rice Street, St. Paul 3, Minnesota, has submitted the lowest bid for publishing the village's legal notices, erdinances, resolutions, and financial statement for the oalendar year of 1~52, at sixty (60) cents per folie inch and ten (10) cents per folie aGo ditienal for tabular matter, and qualifies as a legal newspaper. Rex McClung aoting maycr for the calendar year 1~52; carried unani_ mously. ASSESSOR'S PLaTS: Upon the recommendation of Building Inspector Hurlbert the Clerk was directed to precure from the County Assessor's office, at cost, two sets of Ozalid prints of all sections compesing the Village of Arden Hills, toget:er with one key map, one set to be retained by the Clerk, the other :fer use by the building insllec tor . ~III&GE R.il.~S: The Clerk introduced "Resolution No.. 10 - Establishing Mileage Rate" at 7t'1 per mile travelled, which was net seconded. .
