approved as read - carried.
Constable Salitros reque~,ted reinstateI'18nt as a Police Officer
for tho Villap:e of Arden Hills. He stated that previous diffi-
culties have been re'noved, and that nothinp; now stood in the wa,'
of his performing his (luties as a police officer for the Villflge.
Mc Clung moved and Lunlovl secondea a motion reinstating JAr. Salitros
as a Police Officer for the Village at a'salary of ~75.00 per mo.
with a car allow8nce of 350.00 - carried.
Installation of generators in the C8rs belonging to the police
officers was discm;sed. Mc Clunf'; moved and Ashback seconded a
motion authorizing Victor Weber, member of the COm:rJ.ittee on Public
Safety, to purchase two heavy duty generators for installation in
the Dolice Officers' cars at a cost not to exceed ~lOO.OO aniece -
carried. ' .
Mc Clung moved and Ashback secoDden a motion continuing Police
Officer, Wasielev!ski, at a salary of ~\75.00 and a car allowance
of ~~50.00 per mo. - CarriHd.
The matter of purchaf'ing playp;round'sites for the Villap;e was
discussed by the Council ana the Ch. of Public Welfare, Mr. Mack,
was instructed to check into the possible locations.

A letter from Senator Humphrey was read by the Mayor. Sena,tor
HUl'lphrey promised all possible aid in securing addition tax
revenue from the Federal Cartrru;e Corp. at ]\few Brip:hton.
The Mayor made committee assignments for the year 1954.

Ashback to serve on the Ra"lsey County Plannil1g Commission - carried.
Since Monday, February 22 nd is a lep:al holiday, Ashback !'loved and
MAck seconded a "1otion schedulil'J the next rer~lllar meetinr; of the
Council feD Tuesday, the 23rd of Febrllary.- carried.
ClaiMs 11386 thru #393 Y.J8re read, by the clerk. Mack moved and
AShback secol'.ded a Motion anprovil'g the claims as read - carried.
A situation involving an addition Made'to a village home without
havinp; first secured a building permit, was discussed by the
Council. AShback moved and Ludlow seconded a motion instructing
Attorney Courtney to write a letter to ltt. Malinas (occupant) and
Mr. Kuchinski (owner) siving a May 1st deadline for removal of the
addition. Mr. Mack voted contrary but the Jl1.otion cFlrried.

of 1300.00 - carried.
The clerk read the license application for the year 1954.
Mack moved and AShback seconded (1 Dotion that the licenses
requested be issued - carried.
Mack Y10ved and lIc Clung seconded a notion the meeting be ad-
journed. The meeting adjourned at 10:10 P.M.
