WoIfgra,m, their surveyor, came forward, referred Council to 2 letter of Dec. 10, 1954 to our Villa~e Engineer Mr. Carley concerning the plat, and aek~d the Council to accept plat. }s Mr. \volfgram stated that the final plat didn't yet meet entirely all the reouirements, the Council dedided to ge thru letter of Dec. 10, to ~~. C~rley, And determine which requirements ~ere yet to be met. Motion made by Hoyt and seconded by Delange, that the Surveyor when naming street nOw named Oakwood, be referred to Remsey County Plenning Commission, & street name should not contain name Oek. Motion carried. Require. 7 Mr. Sauers presented Council with a petition to rezone Shorewood Hills from Ferm Residence to Residential, Class A. McClung moved and Hoyt seconded the motion thPt the ouestion of rezoning the property which is contemplated to be kno~n as Shore~ood Rills be published. as required by lB.", end a heRring on rezoning set at January Jl, 1955. Hovt '"oved and DeLange seconded the motion that the clerk provide the li st of documents and changes or additions to the plat as a~reed upon Jan. ), to Mr. Sauers and Mr. Kranak, SO they can complete ~lat, so that as soon as Engineer and Attorney ca.n insnect and approve finel pla,t and Village Attorney can give his opinion on all le~al documents, the Council can give approval for final documents. Motion carried. Hoyt moved end McClung seconded the motion that Mr. DeLange be appointed Acting Mayor. Motion carried. McClung moved and Hoyt seconded thet Victor Weber be appointed Police Chief for the year 1955 !'ubject to termination at any time by cction of Village Council. subject to compensntion of $25.00 per mo. Mr. Mack requested permission to sell Hot Dogs and Coffee' "i thout 1", 1 icease at a fishing contest sponsored by Arden Hills Sportsmen Club Jan. 16. 1955 at Lake Johanna.
