MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING

~e meeting was Cl'~led to order at 7100 P.M. by Mayor Ashbach.
Mayor Ashbach reported that the Roseville sewer bids had been XK rejected with new
bids to be taken June 1. If Arden Hills is to have the Roseville sewer pipes
enlarged for future hook-up, we must indicate to Roseville by June 1 when their bids
are let so that an alternate bid can b... made.
Mr. Petel!' Popovich explained the duties and cost of a fiscal agent in regard to a
sewage plan.
A public hearing on sewage was scheduled for ~ 17, 1956 at 8:00 P.M. at the hall.
Mr. Courtney, Village Attorney was authorized by the Council to write up ll. resolution
from our Council to Roseville requesting them to negotiate with the St. Paul Council
to allow us a sewer hook-up if our villag.. desires it, but without obligation to
participate.
The following resolution was made by motion from Hoyt, s...conded by McClung and
approved by the Council:
RESOLVED that the Council has consider..d th... matter of the pr..sently comm..rcial
corner on the West of Hamlin.. AVell\1e and South of County Road :Ill and are going
to recommend that commercial zoning be retained on the new map when it comes
before the Council for action.
The JDe..ting was adjourned at 10:00 P.M.
