Monday, December 31, 1956
The meeting was called to order by N~yor Ashbach at 8:10 P.M.
Roll Call: Ashbach, Delange, Hoyt, present
McClung, Stromquist, absent
The minutes of tre regular meeting of November 26, 1956 were read and
approved.
. The minutes of the special meeting of December 6 1956 wel'e read and
,
approved.
j,irs. Alban appeared to complain about failure of Mrs. Daly to discontinue
kennel operation.
Hoyt moved that the Village Attorney be requested to write Nws. Daly to
cease operations at once.
Mayor Ashbach indicated tb.a t N,r.s Daly had been !'equested to appear before
the regular council meeting in January.
Mr. A. J. ~leidon, 1956 Mounds Avenue appeared to report on having a
dog situation at 1948 l,'lounds ,/\.venaa. Ml'. Anderson of that addl'ess has
built a shack next to Mr. Kleidon' s garage. The place is left during the
day with fire in it and constitutes a fire hazard. His dog knocks down
a bo;; living with !vIr. Kliedon.
The housing problem will be calledi:;o the li\uilding Inspector's attention.
Mr. Weber was informed of the dog problem.
Lic ense reques ts 1'01' Heet' s Cafe & Bar operated by Rita & Wm. Bebn were
approved on motion by Hoyt and seconded by Delange.
License requests for the Wagon Wheel Inn operated by Don Stecker were
approved on motion b~ Ho;yt and seconded by Delange.
Claims 965 thru 988 were presented. Hoyt moved that the above claims
except claim #983 be approved. Delange seconded and the motion carried.
Ashbach moved for adjournment at 8:50 P,M.
