The meeting was called to order at 8:20 P.M. by Mayor Ashbach.
Roll Call: Present; Ashbach, Winfrey, Hoyt, Stromquist.

After Council discussion with lii1'. Dietrickson of Horthern States Power
Company, Hoyt moved and ":iinfrey seconded the motion approving the contract
1'01' village ;r.aintenance of the five street lights in the newly annexed
area of the village. ~r. Dietrickson stated to Council that he will check
into the matter of landscaping to be done at the power s ta tion on Ey. f/10
and will report back to Clel'k on the matter.
In answer to inquiry by Mr. Eodger, Hoyt reported that although a full
committee meeting had not been held, that individually the membel's of the
Pub1iC\'iclfare COEmlittee are in agreement with the Zoning Ordinance set
up in regal'd to signs and billboards, so feel that the request to move
the ~uantrel Cadillac sign should be denied, Upon motion by Hoyt, seconded
by stromquist, the request by the Nagele Advertising Company to move the
,",-uantrel Cadillac sign on Hig:J.way #10 was denied, in accordance with the
. decision made by the Doal'd of Appeals. ]\;Iotio!1 passed.
Upon motion by Hoyt, seconded by Viinfrey, building permits are to be
issued in Alexander Grant Park for Lots 1&2, Smock 3, and Lots 7&8, 310ck
4 E~ for construction on these lots allowing a 35 foot setback and
allowing 7~1 side yard, with an aggregate 15; side yard, p~oviding other
construction details abide by the Buildig Code of Arden HIls. icotion

Traffic R ~ulation Act of the State of Ainnesota was introduced by title.

ing completign of Jenson Avenue, or the release of cel'tified check
held by the ouncil for road completion.

for Hy if 10 and Bridge if 9087, After Council discussion, Hoyt moved,
'Hinfrey seconded the motion we approve grade elevations and p~ans and
speci1'ications 1'01' Bl'idc;e if 9087. :,lotion passed.
Upon motion by'dinfrey, seconded by Hoyt, approval was given the pre-
liminary plans for improvement of' Eir;hway 10 from Highway 96 to the East
Corporate limits (Lexington Ave.). Motion passed.
