The meeting was called to order at 8:00 p.m. by Mayor Ashbach.

quist, seconded by Winfrey, the attached resolution giving approval to pre-

FINANCE COM!-IITTEE: StromQuist reported that a report from tt,e Count;T Asses-
sor's Offioe incUcateCi that the assessed valuation for Arc"cen Hills has in-
creased to Cl,939,498.00.
Mrs. Stromquist reported that the Finance Comrr:ittee met in regard to the
financing of the Grant Road project and decided to ask advice from nearby
banks and bonding companies whether the pr'oject should be financed by

ported that contractors for the oroject requested partial payment for the
completed projects. Upon motion by DeLange, seconded by Crepeau, tba tRay

OF TIlE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF TIlE VILLAGE
. OF ARDEN HIllS, MINNESOfA, HELD OCT-
OBER 27, 1958.

Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Village
Council of the Village of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was duly held at the Village
Hall in said Village on October 27, 1958.
The following members wre present:
Robert O. Ashbach, Mayor
L. H. Winfrey, Trustee
Henry Crepeau, Jr., Trustee
B. J. DeLange, Trustee
Lorraine E. Stromquist, Clerk
. It was brought to the attention of the Council that there was an inadvertent
error in paragraph 6 of the Resolution passed June 9, 1958, providing for the
issuance of Real Estate PurchaSe Bonds of 1958 and Levying A Tax For The P~ent
thereof.
Upon motion duly made and seconded, it was unanimously
RESOLVED: That paragraph 6 of said Resolution Providing For The
Issuance Of $10,000.00 Real Estate Purchase Bonds Of 1958 And Levying A Tax .
For The Payment Thereof, in so far as the totaling of years and amounts, be
amended to read as follows, to-wit:

The aforesaid Resolution passed June 9, 1958 is affirmed
in all other respects, and the Village Clerk is directed to file a certified
copy of this amending resolution with the County Auditor of Ramsey County,
Minnesota.

PUBLIC SAFETY: Crepeau reported he requested Mr. Barthany to change the
night of Justice Court.
Crepeau reported that if Arden Hills desires legiSlative action on any
matters, the Village Attorney Should work with other Village attorneys in
Ramsey County to present the matter through the Ramsey County Legislative
Committee. Stromc1Uist requestecc Attorney to check into matter of request-

MAYOR 'S REPOH'l': Ashbach presented a letter of complaint from a Roseville

CLERK'S REPORT: Stromquist reported a request of Dr. Se:dlOn to seno. e,
nuisance notice to }{r. Gallee for overflo\'ling cesspool on Grant Road. Vic
Weber l"eported he has investigated, t'.:18 matter and the owner has promised to
construct a trench to prevent vlater from running on the road, 2,nd \-Jll1 try
to improve the condition immediately.
