COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF' ARDEN HILLS
FRIDAY, JANUARY 2, 1959
The meeting was called to order at 8:05 p.m, by Trustee Crepeau.
Roll Call: Present; Crepeau, Stromquist, Kennedy
Absent; AiMJach, Uinfrey

The follrn,ing village officers were sworn into office by Attorney Courtney:
Ricard Jones, Justice of the Peace
DouGald Kennedy, TrQstee
Lorraine StromQuist, Clerk
Mrs. Stromquist recommended that tile application for On-Salc Liquor by Don Stecker be
approved and that the application of the Grotto Club by Rouella Cloutier be re-submitted,
license to be issued to an officer of the Grotto Club rather than the manager.
Upon motion by Crepeau, seconded by Stromquist, an On-Sale liquor license for the calendar
year 1959 was granted to Donald Stecker for the \;agon ilheel Inn. Carrie.,
Upon motion by Stromquist, seconded by Crepeau, clerk to reque5t Grotto Club, lnc, to re-
submit their license requests naming an otlficer of the Club responsible, new application
to be submitted by January 12, 1959, Carried,
Attorney Courtney reported that Nounds View officials are now ready to submit title to
Village Hall for our acceptance, final papers to be ready by January 26 meeting. The con-
tract calls for payment of $5,000,00 on delivery of title with balance to be paid six
months later. As this is different from payment plans made under former Council, the
matter was referred to t;he Finance Committee.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 p.m,
