The following m8mber.ere present. All except DeLange . Also present at the meeting were Vincent courtney, Village Attorn87J Roger Short, Ban"'er Engineering Company; and Peter S. . Popovich, Village bond con.ultant. ,; Mr. Roser Short of Banister Engineering COIIlpany, coasult1ng eng1neerll for the Village, presented the tinal plans and specifications for Sanitary S.wer Improvement No. 1 After due oonsideration thereOf, Member Crepeau introduced and moved the adoption of the ro110wing resolution. RESOIDTION APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS WHEREAS PURSUANT TO A RESOIDTION PASSED BY THE Village Council on AUgust 14, 1959, the Village Engineers, Banister Engineering C()l, have prepared plans and specifioations for project No. 1 of Sanitary Sewar Improvement No. 1 and have presented .uch plans and specifications to the Council for approval. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF ARDEN HILLS, MINNESOTA. 1. Such plans and specif1ca t10ns, a copy of wh1ch is attached hereto, and made a part hereor, are hereby approved. 2. The Village Clerk shall prepare and cause to be 1naerted in the Rose Tribune, the orfic1al paper, and in the Construction lUlletin an ativerUument for bids up,on the making of such ill..prove- mInt under such approved plan. and speo1ticationt. The advertisement shall be published as required by law, shall specify the work to be done, shall call for bids upon the basis of a cash payment for such work, shall state that bid. will be opened and considered by tne council at alOO o'clock P.M. on Friday, September 11 in the Council Chambers of the Village Hall, that no bids will be oons1dered unl.ss sealed and filed with the Clerk and accompanied by a oash deposit or certified check payable to the Clerk for 10 percent (lo%) of the ll.IIlount of such bid and that the advertisement shall state a completion date of June 1, 1960. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Member Kennedy, and upon vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor, All and the following voted against.
