The meeting was called to order at 6:)0 p.m. by Mqor Ashbach.
Roll call: Present; Ashbach, Crepeau, Xenned;Jr, Delange and Stromquist
Absent; None
A resolution which the Village of Boseville is considering for pssage granting
permission and authority to the Village of Arden HUls to connect to the BoseTille
sewer system was read and studied by Village Attorney Courtnq and Council members.
After Council consideration, motion _de by Crepeau, seconded by Xenned;Jr that reso-
lution as attached, regarding hook1l;p with Roseville sewer system be approved.
Motion passed.
COllIlcil discussed sewer construction bids received September 11, 1959.
Engineer Short recolllRlended COUllCil to accept alternate bids for the proposed lift
station, and recolllRlended that LlllIIetti &. Sons, Inc. be awe.rded the contra6ts for
Sanitary Sewer Improvement No.1, Projects 1 and 2.
Motion made by DeLange, seconded b7 Crepeau that Lametti &. Sons, Inc. be awarded
the contract for Sanitar,y Sewer hlpr. No.1, Pro_set 1, as attached resolution.
Motion passed.
Motion made by Crepeau, seconded b7 Xenned;Jr that Lametti &. Sons, Inc. be aw"rded
the altsrnate bid for Sanitar,y Sewer Impr. No.1, Project 2 as attached resolution.
Motion passed.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:00 p.m.

liiEREAS, the Village of Roseville is considering the passage of an
ordinance granting permission and authority to the Village of Arden Hills
to connect the public sani tary sewer system of the Village of Arden Hills
to the public sanitary sewer system of the Village of Roseville, which
ordinance would further grant permission to the Village of Arden Hills to
maintain and operate its systn and use said connection as an outlet there-
for, all pursuant to a copy of said proposed ordinance which has been care-
fully considered b,y this Council, and
1lID!:REAS, 'it aPli'ears to the satisfaction of this Council that accept-
ance of said ordinance of the Village of Roseville in accordance with the
provisions of such Ordinance is in the best interests of the people of the

l{)W THEREFCRE, BE IT RESCLVED, that this Council does hereb,y agree to
accept said proposed ordinance in the event that it is passed by the Vil-
lage of Roseville in substantially the form of the draft now presented to

this Council1 and b> enact the necessary accepting ordinance as requested
in Section XV of said proposed ordinance of Roseville.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Clerk is hereby authorized to forward
to the Clerk of Roseville forthwith a properly oertified oopy of this Reso-
lution.

Extract of Minutes of Meeting
of the Village Council of
The Village of Arden Hills
Ramsey County, Minnesota
Held September 22, 1959
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of
the Village Council of the Village of Arden Hills, Minnesota, was
duly held at the Village Hall in said village on the 22nd day of
September, 1959, at 6:30 o'clock P. M.
The following members were present: Mayor Ashbach, Trustees DeLange,
Kennedy and Crepeau, Clerk Stromquist;
and the following were absent: None
Member B. J. DeLange introduced and moved the adoption of the
following resolution:
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING Bm FOR PROJBCT NO. I
VlHEREAS Pursuant to advertisement for bids for Sanitary Sewer
Improvement No.1, Project No. I according to the plans and spec i-
fications thereof on file in the office of the Clerk of said Village,
said bids were received on September 11, 1959 at 8:00 o'clock P. M.,
opened and tabulated according to law and the following bids were
received comply:ing with the advertisement:
Lametti & Sons, Inc.
Project 1 46,650.00
F. Morettini Canst. Co.
Combined Project 1 and 2 113,576.25
Robert W. Moore & Austin p. Keller
. Project I 67,461.50
Nordland Const. Co., Inc.

WHEREAS it appears that Lmnetti & Sons, Ino. of St. Paul, Minnesota, is
the lowest responsible bidder, at the tabulated price of $46,650.00,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of
~ Arden Hills, Minnesota:
I. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and direoted to enter into
a contract with Lametti & Sons, Ine. for $46,650.00 in the name of the Village
of Arden Hills for Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. I, Project No.1, according

to the plans and specifications thereof heretofore approved by the Village
Couneil and on fHe in the office of the Village Clerk, with the right re-
served to the Village of Arden Hills to change said plans and specifications
or the completion dates as set forth by appropriate change order and within
thirty days from date hereof,
2. The Village Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forth-
with to all bidders the deposits made with their liids except the deposits of
the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder shall be retained until a
contract has been signed.
The motion was seconded by Member Crepeau and upon vote being taken
thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: All
and the following voted against: None
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
Member Crepeau then introduced and moved the adoption of the following
resolution:
