Roll Call: Present 0 Mayor Kennedys Trustees Nethercut, Crepeau and Olmen, 01erk Lorraine Stromquist Absent 0 None Also Present - Engineer Don Lund, Attorney Joseph Salland and Electrioal Inspector Ed Salverda. . The Minutes of the Regular Counoil Meeting of August 10, 1964, were approved as amendedo Proclam&tion of Women Voters' Week Mayor Kennedy proolaimed the week of September 13 thrOUgh 19, 1964, as Women Voters Week, as had been previoUsly proclaimed by President Johnson and Govo Rolvaago Arden Hills No. 3 Water Mr. u~en Peterson, 1566 Glenhdll Road, informed the Council that a petition had been c1rc~ated in the Arden Hills Noo 3 area requesting Council action for permission to connect this area to the Rosev!lle water system; however. this petition wes not presented to the Co~~cil at this meeting. Mr. Peterson and Eugene Vorpahl, 1574 Glenhill Road. were present to voice their oppositiono They felt that if the residents in this srea are in need of water, the Council should oonsider a~ Arden Hilla system. REPORT OF ATTORNEY JOS. SALLAND Wilsey Matter Atty. Sa~land informed the Council that the complaint on the Wilsey matter is now in the hands of Justice of the Peace to be served by Lt. Pat Sexton when he returns from vacation. Atty. Salland informed th~ Council that he believes the intention of Mr. Wilsey's atto~ne1 is to ask that the case be transferred to a Municipal Courto Uniform Building Code Atty. Sal~and informed the Council that Attyo Courtney is still work= ing on the Uniform Building Codeo Rysgaard Easement Trustee u~en moved that the Atty. be authorized to proceed w1t~ cone demnation on the Rysg~ard Easement; seconded by Clerk Lorraine Strome quist; motion oarriedo REPORT OF ENGINEIm DONALD LUND Lakeshore Place Engr. REPORT OF TRUSTEE CREPEAU Civil Defense Matters Trustee CrepeaU infol'llled the Council that the Civil Defense Dept. 1'l.8s requested aid from Mounds View and New Brighton at the Fire School whioh will be held at the Arden Hills Training Center and alao at the Mounds View High Sohool fUnctions this yearJ he was concerned about insurance coverage under these situations. He suggested an alternate solution of constructing a bridle path for pedestrians and bicycles. Trustee Olmen stated that Mayor Kennedy's alternate plan would also save the trees on the toulnvard.
