Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of
the Village Council of the Village of Arden Hills, Ramsey County,

96, St. Paul, Minnesota, on Monday, the 10th day of February, 1964,

BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village of Arden
Hills, Minnesota, as follows:
WHEREAS the assessment roll for Sanitary Sewer Improvement No. 1
as last finally amended and adopted on September 9, 1960, was filed
and certified to the County Auditor of Ramsey County on October 26,
1960 for the purpose of including installments thereof to be collected
along with real estate taxes commencing in 1961, and

its municipal sewage pumping and associated equipment, as designated in the attached List of Delivery

Customer shall advise Company of any proposed alterations in its facilities utilizing munici-
pal sewage pumping service and, if acceptable to Company, the List of Delivery Points will be revised
accordingly. Upon the signing of such revised List by Customer's authorized officials, electric service
to such altered facilities will be supplied hereunder. In the event Customer pennanently abandons the
use of a pumping installation or associated equipment, upoq notice to Company of such abandonment the
List of Delivery Points will be revised accordingly.
The Customer agrees to accept and pay for such service in accordance with the rates, rules,
and regulations of the Company in effect from time to time for this class of service. Copy of rates
presently in effect are shown in the attached Rate Schedule.

be the average cost of fuel used during the preceding twelve months by the steam electric
generating stations of Northern States Power Company (Minnesota) supplying energy to its
interconnected transmission system serving customer, and shall include purchase cost,
freight, demurrage, weighing or measuring, unloading, testing, rehandling in stotage, and
delivery inro said steam stations.
MONTHL Y MINIMUM CHARGE:

DETERMINATION OF DEMAND: The demand in kilowatts for billing purposes shall be the
greatest 15-minute load during the month for which bill is rendered, but in no event shall
the demand to be billed be considered less than 50% of the greatest demand billed during
the preceding eleven months, nor less than 30 kw. For billing purposes, a ftaction of a kw
if less than one-half will be dropped, if one-half or more will be billed as one-half.
POWER FACTOR: Cus tomer shall at all rimes take and use power in such manner that the
power factor shall be as near 100% as possible, but when the average power factor is less
than 80%, customer agrees to install the necessary corrective equipment to raise such power
factor to at least 80%. The average power factor is defined ro be the quotient obtained by
dividing the kilowatt-hours used during the month by the square root of the sum of the
squares of the kilowatt-hours used and the lagging reactive kilovolt-ampere-hours supplied
during the same period. Any leading kilovolt-amp ere-hours supplied during the period will
not be considered in determining the avetage power factor.
TERM OF CONTRACT: One year, continuing theteaftet from year to year, unless cancelled
by either party by giving written notice at least 30 days prior to expiration of any contract
year.
