Minutes of Special Meeting Village of Arden Hills Thursday -27 July 1967 - 8:00 p.m. Call to Order Meeting was called to order by Mayor Nethercut at 8:00 p.m. Rol' Call Present - Mayor Nethercut, Trustees Olmen and Hollenhorst Absent - Trustees BJorndahl and Crepeau Also Present: Administrative Clerk Lorraine Stromquist and Deputy Clerk Florence Honan Certification of Special Election Results Trustee Hollenhorst moved to accept and certify the results of the Special Election, as per the attached minutes, to allow special licenses be granted for the sale of Intoxicat- Ing liquor on Sundays In the Village of Arden Hills; seconded by Trustee Olmen; motion carried. MINUTES OF VILLAGE ELECTION VIllage of Arden HIlls Tuesday, 25 July 1967 At the SpecIal VIllage Election of the VIllage of Arden HIlls In the County of Ramsey and State of Minnesota, held at Precinct No. and PrecInct No.2, beIng the places where It wa~ directed to be held by the VII lege Council after givIng due notice thereof as provided by law, on the 25 day of July 1967, ElectIon Boar4s, as per attached, being qualIfied voters of said VIllage, to act as Judges of such ElectIon and Chairmen of such Election, each of whom had wIthin twenty days before such time been desIgnated and appointed by the VIllage Council to act as Judges and ChaIrmen respectively of such ElectIon, who, being present, at the hour of 2:00 o'clock p.m., each of them duly took and subscribed an oath to faithfully dIscharge the duties required of them at such Election, and the said Judges and Chairmen being duly qualifIed, forthwith opened the ballots by proclamation, and the ElectIon proceeded by ballot without adjournment or IntermIssIon until clos~d. The subject voted on at such Electlonm as stated In the Notice thereof, was Shall Special licenses be granted for the sale of Intoxicating liquor on Sundays In the Village of Arden Hills? At 8:00 o'clock In the evening of saId day the polls were closed, ProclamatIon thereof havIng been made by one of the Judges thirty minutes previous thereto. The Judges then proceeded to publicly count and canvass the votes, and a true statement thereof was duly proclaimed to the voters and the Clerk, who recorded the same In the Village Minute Book.
