ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY (EDA) MEETING
FEBRUARY 23, 2004
6:30 P.M. - ARDEN HILLS CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS
CALL TO ORDER/ROLL CALL
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, President Beverly Aplikowski called to order the
EDA Meeting at 6:35 p.m.
Present:
President Beverly Aplikowski, Commissioners David Grant, Brenda
Holden, Gregg Larson, and Lois Rem.
Absent:
None.
Also present were Executive Director, Michelle Wolfe; Director of Community
Development/Assistant City Administrator, Aaron Parrish; Finance DirectorlTreasurer,
Murtuza Siddiqui; and Director of Operations and Maintenance, Thomas Moore

APPROVAL OF AGENDA
MOTION: Commissioner Rem moved and Commissioner Larson seconded a
motion to approve the Agenda as submitted.
The motion carried unanimously (5-0).
3. UNFINISHED BUSINESS
A. Indykiewicz Property
Mr. Parrish presented an overview of the offer received for the Indykiewicz property.
After discussion regarding the offer and acceptable uses for the property, the following motion
was made.
MOTION: Commissioner Grant moved and Commissioner Rem seconded a motion
to instruct staff to prepare financial information and to negotiate with the
c-store user.
Commissioner Larson stated he supports the first part of the motion but would prefer to
proceed with a two-step process.
The maker of the motion and seconder agreed and the motion was amended in the
following manner:

AMENDED MOTION: Commissioner Grant and Commissioner Rem seconded a
motion to instruct staff to prepare additional financial information for review by the EDA.
The motion carried unanimously (5-0). Staff was directed to bring back additional
financial information.
President Aplikowski stated the EDA would meet in March to review the financial
information.
ADJOURN
President Aplikowski adjourned the Economic Development Authority Meeting at 6:43 p.m.
