RESOLUTION NO. 2025-012
RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID AND AUTHORIZING AWARD OF CONTRACT
FOR THE SOUTH TOWER IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the South Tower Improvement Project,
bids were received, opened, and tabulated according to the law, and the following bids were received
complying with the advertisement:
BRZ Coatings, Inc $347,000.00
TMI Coatings, Inc. $441,000.00
Classic Protective Coatings, Inc. $588,130.00
and;
WHEREAS,it appears that BRZ Coatings,Inc.of Tarrant,Texas is the lowest responsible bidder.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF ARDEN HILLS,
MINNESOTA:
1. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into the attached contract
with BRZ Coatings of Tarrant, Texas in the name of the City of Arden Hills for the South Tower
Improvements Project according to the plans and specifications therefore approved by the City
Council and on file in the office of the City Clerk.
2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return forthwith to all bidders the deposits
made with their bids, except that the deposits of the successful bidder and the next lowest bidder
shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARDEN HILLS THIS LOTH
DAY OF FEBRUARY 2025.
