Committee study the question as to whether the property developer
sho~ld pay e doliar amount toward ~~rk5 and open speces Insteed of
laying out In advance such ereas to be dedicated to the Vllla~. If

might look over the land parcel and determine which property should be
bought with the money.

MARK ALDRIDGE, 1257 Amble Roach Has just built ill new home with
a four inch well. He had checked with the Village Hall in September
when construction started and was told there were no plans for
munieipal water at that location. He asked if enough people on
Amble Road didn't want the water if that street could be omitted
from the improvement.
. MELVIN Jln'SEN. 1245 Amble Road: Just had his well repaired
at a cost of $400. Because he's paying assessments on sanitary
sewer and beeause his taxes have inereased he didn't think he
needed water yet. Also wants to know if it WOUld have saved money
to put the water in when the sewer lines were laid last year.
LEO LE MAY, 1291 Amble Road: said that his well is adequate
but there are two new houses being built whose owners will want
water and he would prefer having it go in now.
aIARLES CRICHTON, 1700 Valentine: Does nQt live in the
impmvement area. H()wever, his taxes will be increased if the
Amble Road project is constructed. He's in favor of that if
the people there want the improvement, but he doesn't want his
taxes increased for an improvement the people don't want.
HARRY EHLERS, 3256 New Brighton Road: Commen.ted that the
quicker the village gets complete water the quickerthl!lre will
be an underwriters' rate reduetion for insurance.
BERT SCHU'lTA. 4460 North HllIIIline: He thought there was a
great urgency for water on HllIIIline Avenue. and asked that the
Council consider ordering the improvement for that street at
least.
